Gallery distancing – dislocations and interventions
Gallery distancing: dislocations and interventions is an online exhibition held at AIRspace Projects, Marrickville in June 2020. The exhibition comprises five photographs that are placed in unanticipated locations throughout the AIRspace gallery. The work explores how the transformation of elements within existing architecture can create new and critical experiences for the viewer. Gallery distancing uses subtle rearrangements within the AIRspace gallery to explore the sense of dislocation experienced due to Covid-19.
